Description
Although stilbite is a common mineral, it is most commonly white and off-white, or in pale colours. These are sharp, lustrous crystals (glassy terminations) of a pretty, rich cinnamon colour from a recent find at Tree Rock, near Amethyst Cove. In excellent condition – no damage (a few incomplete crystals around the periphery where this was removed from the surrounding rock). An attractive and distinctive stilbite from the Blomidon Peninsula.
