Description
This striking cabinet specimen is comprised of a large 5.4 cm ball of stilbite topped by a smaller ball (which is really a thick fan-shaped aggregate, not a sphere). The stilbite is in excellent condition – just a bit of damage/contacting on the back of the piece. Small epidote crystals (some incomplete) and small prehnite balls at the base and underneath the specimen. The rich yellow colour of the stilbites, together with the aesthetic arrangement and good lustre, make this one a real stand-out in the display case.
