Description
This 3.7 cm tall yellow stilbite ball at the top of a pillar of matrix is just beautiful. Lustrous crystals with excellent colour. No damage. There is a contact spot where a bit of miscellaneous matrixt had been lodged, around the side of the piece – at the angle I’d have it for display, this contact faces toward the side/back (located at about 10 o’clock), so it’s not relevant when displayed. The specimen stands perfectly for display as photographed. Accociated with the stilbite there is a 2.1 cm ball of prehnite (depending on what light it is in, it is greyish green with more or less blue tint to it) and there are some associated epidote crystals at the bottome of the piece (some contacted/incomplete). A very classy specimen.
