This is a beautiful specimen with an attractive hemisphere of cream-coloured sparkling crystals of stilbite – an unusual shape for stilbite. The shape is due to the fact that these stilbite crystals form an epimorphic shell after a ball of mesolite crystals. Some mesolite crystals and stilbite crystals are visible inside the hollow epimorph. In excellent condition. An aesthetic – and frankly amazing – specimen from Cap D’Or.
